The day after two sisters from spotsylvania county are discovered
murdered-- the investigation is in high gear, with local and federal efforts.
Good Evening, this is NEWS-7 Primetime on WEFC. I'm Connie Stevens.
F-B-I experts have compiled a profile of the person who killed the girls.
They believe it was most likely a man, fascinated with adolescent girls.
He may have stalked others before apparently abducting the girls from their
home five days ago.
And they also speculate the killer is probably avidly following news
coverage of the case.

CAPT. PAT SULLINS, SHERIFF'S DEPT., WE'RE NERVOUS, SCARED...
Scared because two sisters were murdered, their bodies discovered in a river
beneath an overpass 40 miles from home.
15 year old Kristin and 12-year old
Katie Lisk had been missing 5 days. Police believe they were abducted from
home less than an hour after they stepped off their school bus last Thursday.
A State Highway road crew found them Tuesday.

Investigators waded through water waist deep in search of clues, a motive

As for the girls' parents, they remain in seclusion, Grieving the death of
their only children. Grief that has gripped an entire town.

This is the second major murder investigation in Spotsylvania County in
the past eight months.
Last September a 16-year-old,
was abducted from home-- her body found five weeks later.
The suspect in that case is behind bars.
