During questioning today at the state police headquarters in Salem,
authorities say Pritchett made self incriminating statements and was taken into

down a killer.

TWO-year old Brandy Barlow disappeared from her home on South Street in
Bedford in October of 1980.

Her body was discovered four months later by a group of men walking along
State Route 6-77, about a mile outside the city limits.
She had been strangled and left in a drainage ditch.
No one was arrested- but a little over a month ago, Bedford authorities met
and decided to review the case.

Chief Milton Graham hopes new forensic and investigative technology can give
them some new leads.
Several local and state agencies have promised to lend manpower to the

Jones told police that he was at a relative's house when the crime went
down.

After struggling for a couple of months and missing the cut in 7 straight
events, Chip Sullivan finally got on track today during the first round of the
Bell South Open in Duluth, Georgia.
Chip shot a three under round of 69 today highlighted by a 32 on the back
side.
Don Pooley leads after the first 18 with an 8 under par 64.

If you thought the hoopla surrounding the City of Salem's first ever
football state championship ended on cereal box, guess again.
This afternoon, the Salem Rotary Club named Willis White its Citizen of the
year.

The Salem High School Teacher and Football coach has taught mathematics for
33 years.
He began his career in Wythe County, before moving onto Roanoke City and
finally to Salem, where he has worked for the past 14 years.

Willis has been Blue Ridge district and Friday Football Extra coach of the
year on numerous occasions, but his biggest accomplishment came this past
December when the Spartans won their First Group AA Division 4 state
championship by beating Sherando at Victory stadium.
