Bedford City police say they'll reopen a 16-year old murder case to see if they can track down a killer.

TWO-year old Brandy Barlow disappeared from her home on South Street in Bedford in October of 1980.

Her body was discovered four months later by a group of men walking along State Route 6-77, about a mile outside the city limits.
She had been strangled and left in a drainage ditch.
No one was arrested- but a little over a month ago, Bedford authorities met and decided to review the case.

Chief Milton Graham hopes new forensic and investigative technology can give them some new leads.
Several local and state agencies have promised to lend manpower to the investigation, but that may not happen for several months.
