The discovery of a body in the James River last night has Appomattox County
Sheriffs investigating.
Authorities say two fisherman found the body in the Bent Creek area .
Deputies were called to the scene around six-twenty.
Officials are not releasing any other information at this point.

Authorities in Appomattox county are searching for clues to an apparent
homicide over the weekend.
Officials say two fisherman found a body along the James River in the Bent
Creek area last night.
Deputies were called to the scene shortly after six.
Officials say the body was taken to the medical examniers office in Roanoke
in hopes of a positive identification.

investigation into the murders of sisters Kristin and Kati Lisk.
So far, Sheriff Ron Knight says the department has received 16- hundred
leads.
