hold a position in the corps of cadets.
Thirteen of them are Virginians. A dozen states are represented, PLUS two

Sixty-four female applicants have been accepted.
And it's not too late for some of the rest to send in their money.
Based on past ratios, as many as 37 women may fall into the ranks of the
class of two- thousand- one in August.

The name Wrath is certainly a big change from The Riverdawgs.

Salem is again hosting another NCAA championship this week.
8 Division II softball teams from all over the country are ready to begin
play at the Moyer complex tomorrow.

This afternoon a number of teams checked into Salem for a little practice
time on the Moyer diamonds.
Longwood College and the city of Salem are hosting the event.
The tournament begins tomorrow and runs through next Monday.

Salem Civic Center sponsored by your Hometown Station, and emceed tonight by
