University of Virginia officials say they plan a review of balconies on buildings on the Lawn following a deadly accident yesterday.

Police say two masked men poured gasoline on John Brown's front lawn and set it on fire early yesterday morning.
When Brown stepped outside to investigate, one of the men apparently pulled out a gun and fired twice.
Brown is hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
Last year, Brown was accused of molesting a teenage boy.

Betty, Leonard's wife, was killed.

Southwest Virginia textile industrialist Glenn Thornhill Senior died Saturday.
Thornhill became well known in the textile industry through ownership of several family businesses, including the Maid Bess Garment Company, and his involvement with the Donnkenny Corporation.

A Henry County man has been charged with stabbing a neighbor to death with a butcher knife.
56- year- old Arlen Wayne Hollandsworth was arrested Saturday night at his home.
The sheriff's office says Hollandsworth got the idea that the victim, Fenton Joel Price, was having an affair with his wife.
Hollandsworth stabbed Price in the chest.
Officials say Hollandsworth has a history of mental problems and was on medication.
