Brandon Wayne Hedrick was ordered held without bond after at his appearance this afternoon in Appomattox General District Court.
He's charged with capital murder in the shooting death of Lisa Yvonne Crider on May 11th.
Hedrick's alleged accomplice, 18- year- old Trevor Andrew Jones is facing murder, abduction and firearms charges... his bond was set at a half million dollars.
Prosecutor Tommy Lawson says both men are potential flight risks.

They were arrested Saturday at this house in Lincoln, Nebraska, six days after Crider's body was found in the James River.
They waived extradition back to Virginia to face the murder charges.
Both were appointed attorneys today.
A preliminary hearing is set for July.
