A Lynchburg home went up in flames early this morning.

The blaze at 9-10 Taylor Street was reported at about 2:30.
The first crews on the scene found the back of the two- story, wood- frame
home engulfed in flames.
It took firefighters about a half hour to bring the blaze under control.
Authorities say the house was being renovated and they don't believe anyone
has been living there.
The fire appears to have started in the rear of the building, on the
outside.
The Lynchburg fire marshal is investigating.

18- year- old Trevor Andrew Jones is being held on a 500- thousand dollar
bond.. he's facing murder, abduction and firearms charges.
NO bond was set for 18- year- old Brandon Wayne Hedrick, who's charged with
capital murder in the shooting death of Lisa Yvonne Crider May 11th.
They were arrested in Lincoln, Nebraska Saturday and returned to Appomattox
Tuesday afternoon.
A preliminary hearing is set for July.
