A man charged with the stabbing death of a romantic rival during a fight was acquitted.
A Roanoke jury deliberated two hours yesterday before returning the NOT guilty verdict in the case of Michael Wells.
Wells testified Anthony Crutchfield started the fight last December and that he was just defending himself.
Prosecutors said Wells was jealous because his longtime girlfriend had been dating Crutchfield.
