A man charged with the stabbing death of a romantic rival during a fight was acquitted.
A Roanoke jury deliberated two hours yesterday before returning the NOT guilty verdict in the case of Michael Wells.
Wells testified Anthony Crutchfield started the fight last December and that he was just defending himself.
Prosecutors said Wells was jealous because his longtime girlfriend had been dating Crutchfield.

But the verdict was overturned on appeal.

Investigators are searching for a suspect in the murder of a 67- year- old Henry County man.
Sheriff's officials say Governor Taylor Craig was found dead late last night inside his home off Figsboro Road.
He apparently died from gunshot wounds.
Craig's 72- year- old brother, John, was injured during the incident.
Authorities say he's recovering from a blow to the head.
