Jeff Goldblum does a fine world weary turn as he reprises his character of Ian Malcolm who has to take on an array of dinosaurs, this time in order to rescue his Paleontologist girlfriend Julianne Moore.
The story line is incoherent and the movie seems just to be going through the motions a lot of the time.
"The Lost World" gets a generous "B-". The dinosaur scenes are amazing, but it takes a while to get to them.
The final scenes with a T-Rex loose in San Diego is so reminiscent of those old Godzilla movies, it makes it all a bit silly. cutopen
