murder and attempted capital murder.

Authorities in Baltimore spent the better part of yesterday hunting down a
fugitive... who allegedly stabbed, raped, and stole his way through 2 Maryland
Tonight he's in custody... thanks to the work of Virginia State Police.

Keith, 34- year- old Archie William Cooper has spent the majority of his
life in here Southwestern Virginia.
Baltimore police were right when they assumed Cooper would try to return
home after his alleged crime spree.

According to police in Maryland, a young girl was raped... and a woman was
Authorities suspected Archie William Cooper.
A few hours later, Cooper's estranged wife, her boyfriend, and her
boyfriend's roommate were stabbed.
A truck had been stolen, and Cooper was no where to be found.
Police contacted authorities in the Commonwealth, on a hunch he might return
to his native Southwestern Virginia.
Early this morning, a trooper spotted the stolen vehicle at the Ironto rest

Loudon County's school superintendent is telling principals across the state
to beware of politicians on the campaign trail.
Edgar Hatrick says he felt Lieutenant Governor Don Beyer went too far last
week when he asked seniors in a government class for their votes this November.
Beyer was in Lynchburg today, speaking to another government class, this one
at E.C. Glass High School.
He didn't ask for their votes... instead he only urged them to REGISTER and

quality of Virginia's schools depends on its educators.

Pulling your own weight starts early at Crystal Spring Elementary School, as

Mind--a series of science contests.
The youngsters' prized project is this wooden structure. They're hoping

ago, and now the Roanoke Valley's is growing quickly.
Keith after 10 months the New Century Venture Center has 10 tenants.
