A man wanted in Baltimore after going on violent crime spree yesterday morning has been apprehended in Montgomery County.
Archie Cooper is being held in the Montgomery County jail in connection with three stabbings, assault, rape, burglary and auto theft.
Authorities say early yesterday morning he stabbed his estranged wife, her boyfriend and another man.
Cooper also allegedly raped a thirteen- year- old girl, attacked a woman and stole two vehicles- all in the Baltimore area.
He was arrested early this morning while sleeping in one of the stolen vehicles at the Ironto rest stop.

Town Council and Roanoke-area businessman Bill Pinkerton last night wrapped up a contract that allows Pinkerton to buy the nine miles of track that link Saltville with the Norfolk Southern main line in Glade Spring.

Saltville Town Manager John Clark says Pinkerton will buy the line for 180 thousand dollars.
