Judge Masch give instructions to the members of the jury about their duty-- and told them to base their decision on facts, not emotion.

The judge wanted to make sure there would be no distractions for the panel members, which is why he ordered them sequestered.
He also gave them the option of setting their own hours which means they could be in for a long weekend of work.

The lady Highlanders and the Lady Fighting Blues hooked up for the title at Laurel Park.
Glenvar got off to a quick start. Renee Anderson hits a grounder up the middle to centerfield scoring Cherri Thompson from second base and the Lady Highlanders were out in front 1 to nothing.
Glenvar's big inning came in the third. Kellie Julg smacks a sharp grounder to the pitcher, but the throw to first is off the mark and Amy Layman

Then, with the bases juiced; Chrissey Lewis connects on another sharp hit; this time to short; it hits the Glenvar runner for an out but a run scores and Glenvar wins 3-1.
