Jurors in the Oklahoma City bombing case have wrapped up work for the day.

As we hear from Byron Harlan in Denver-- the seven men and five women spent
more than seven hours today, trying to decide the fate of Timothy McVeigh.

Everyone knew what would happen when court started this morning.
Judge Masch give instructions to the members of the jury about their duty--
and told them to base their decision on facts, not emotion.
When he was through the case was in their hands, deliberations were
underway and the agonizing wait for everyone involved began.

Another one of Tim McVeigh s lawyers did tell reporters that his client is
handling the wait quite well.

Jones says McVeigh is not nervous.
but, family members of some of the victims are far more emotional.

The judge wanted to make sure there would be no distractions for the panel
members, which is why he ordered them sequestered.
He also gave them the option of setting their own hours which means they
could be in for a long weekend of work.

A high school coach is being accused of assaulting a student.
Paul Bernard is the boys basketball coach at William Byrd.. He's accused of
shoving... and then verbally assaulting a member of his team.
The warrant has yet to be served.
And school officials are trying to gather all of the facts before taking any
action against Bernard.

Bernard was not available for comment... but told police HE was the victim

Next month, Salem High School soccer coach Walter Braine, will stand trial
on charges that he intentionally kicked a student during physical education

now a 1994 videotape showing Attorney General Gil Davis is in Washington, DCTERMS.
Davis was seen this week, nationwide, after the U-S Supreme Court ruled his

A doctor who helped bring accessible medical care to a minority community in
Roanoke has been fired.
Kenneth LeGree (leh-GREE) Hallman's dismissal surprised patients at the
