Franklin County Moonshiner "Dee" Stanley once again faces a malicious wounding charge.

But there were plenty of reasons to be optimistic, as Jamey Wright the first Avalanche player to ever make it to the majors was back in town on loan from the Rockies rehabbing a bad right clavicle.
But Wright had a rocky opening inning as runners reached second and third with just one out. Then Augie Ojeda was able to dash home from third on the fielder's choice to make it 1-to-Nothing Keys.
Wright would then find the right stuff with the strikeout as he and the Avalanche started to settle down.
But again their was no settling down mother nature as the skies opened and the fans started dashing for the exits.
The grounds crew did a nice job of getting the tarp down, but all that wicked lightning forced the game to be postponed. The two teams will try again tomorrow night.
