Franklin County Moonshiner "Dee" Stanley is once again facing a malicious wounding charge.

Stanley had been charged with shooting his son at their home last February.
At a preliminary hearing in April, the judge dismissed the case, because Scott Stanley could not remember much about the incident.
Franklin County prosecutor Cliff Hapgood went to the grand jury and got an indictment today.

Also indicted today, a camp counselor from Roanoke, on charges of sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl.
Joseph Wayne Doyle is accused of sexual battery, and sexual penetration with an object.
The indicents allegedly happened while Doyle was a counselor at the Smith Mountain Lake 4-H camp.

An 18 year old man suffered serious injuries today when he crashed a pickup truck into Alleghany High School in Covington.
State police say Matthew Judkins smashed into a brick wall at the school.
A Charlottesville construction company reported the truck stolen from Route 60.
