murdered in his New York City apartment.

Police found the body Monday night, bound and gagged and lying in a pool of
blood.

A plane crash in Montgomery County claimed the life of three people
yesterday.
Timothy Williams Sprinkle of Troutville, 22-year old Charles David Smith of
Salem and 70-year old Clifford E. Wells of Buchanan all died when the
single-engine plane crashed into the side of a hill.
