Federal investigators complete the on site investigation of Tuesday's fatal
plane crash... but the search for a cause continues.

Federal investigators say there was no unusual radio traffic-- no reports
of trouble before the plane crashed into a hillside Tuesday afternoon.
They completed their on- scene investigation today of the crash that
killed Clifford Wells, Tim Sprinkle and David Smith.
Air Safety investigator Robert Pearce confirms that the left wing fell off
before the impact, but he says there's no indication severe weather might have
caused the crash.

An explosion at a Tennessee fireworks factory today left four people dead
and several others injured.
It happened at the Pyro Shows warehouse in La-Follette, near Knoxville--
The blast was felt more than ten miles away,
It set buildings on fire, and rained debris into neighboring yards.

The four killed were workers at Pyro Shows.
At the time of the explosion, they were apparently getting ready for a
fireworks show this weekend in Norfolk.
No word yet on the cause of the blast-- the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and
Firearms is investigating.
