Air Safety investigator Robert Pearce confirms that the left wing fell off

Investigators say a hot plate apparently sparked Tuesday's blaze.

Eleven residents returned to their rooms yesterday.
The remaining 66 are staying at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
It could be a week before they can go back.
