Federal investigators say there was no unusual radio traffic, no reports
of trouble before the plane crashed into a hillside Tuesday afternoon.
They completed their on- scene investigation today of the crash that
killed Clifford Wells, Tim Sprinkle and David Smith.

before the impact, but he says there's no indication of severe weather that
might have caused the crash.

The fire at Carilion Bedford Memorial Hospital is ruled an accident.
Investigators say a hot plate apparently sparked Tuesday's blaze.
Fire officials say a circuit breaker was accidentally turned on, heating a
hot plate in the recreation room storage closet.
A combustable material on top of it ignited.
Carilion estimates the damage between 20 to 25-thousand dollars.
Officials credit the quick response of hospital and emergency workers for
containing the blaze.
Eleven residents returned to their rooms yesterday.
The remaining 66 are staying at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
