No indications of trouble- -nothing unusual in a minutes before three local
aviators lost their lives in a crash Tuesday night.

Federal investigators have completed their on- scene investigation of
Tuesday's plane crash in Montgomery County.
And today, they said there were no unusual radio transmissions, no reports
of trouble, before the plane went down.
Clifford Wells, Tim Sprinkle and David Smith were killed in the crash.
Air Safety investigator Robert Pearce confirms that the plane lost its
left wing before the crash.
But radio traffic provided no clues to the cause.

It's only a matter of days before most students leave the confines of
school, and leap into summer vacation.
But the break will be SHORTER this year for several localities.

Carilion estimates 20-to-25-thousand dollars worth of damage caused by the
fire Tuesday at Carilion Bedford Memorial Hospital.
Investigators blame a hot plate in a recreation storage room. It was
accidentally turned ON when a circuit breaker was flipped.
Officials say a quick response from hospital and emergency workers helped
to contain the fire.
87 residents were evacuated from the hospital...eleven returned
yesterday..but it may be almost a week before the others can move back in.
