Investigators are calling the fire an accident. They are blaming it on a hot plate in a storage closet.
The plate was accidently turned on after a circuit breaker was flipped.
Officials say the fire could have been worse if it were not for the quick response of hospital and emergency workers.

Officials found all the plane's major components.
The three men on board were all experienced pilots.
The plane belonged to Clifford Wells.
Officials presume he was flying the plane, but an autopsy will conclude who was at the controls.

A man hit a parked car then rammed into the side of a home in Vinton this morning.

Authoritites are hoping looking into possible clues from an abandoned house could help in the murder of two Spotsylvania County girls.

The evidence may help them find the killer of Kristin and Kati Lisk.
The bodies of the two sisters were found in a river last month, five days after they disappeared.

WDBJ-7 General Manager Bob Lee called the lawsuit "ridiculous", and said the station would withhold further comment pending consultation with its attorneys.
In March, channel 7 filed a lawsuit against Crenshaws concerning nearly 50 thousand dollars in unpaid bills for advertising purchased months after the station aired the warranty reports.
The state is reviewing the issue of Crenshaw's warranty coverage.
