Federal Mogul and state officials are trying to determine how many homes may
be affected by a chemical degreaser that's seeped into the ground.

The degreaser has been detected in a well at A-and-T Mobile Home Park, as
well as a nearby spring that feeds into Wilson Creek.
The chemical, known as Trichloroethylene (Try-cloro-eth-lean), or T-C-E, is
used at Federal Mogul to degrease engine bearings.
The chemical apparently seeped into the ground at a private waste water
treatment plant on the site-- that's now closed.
State environmental officials say the company could spend several million
dollars removing the chemical from the groundwater.

city" relationship between Bedford and Vierville-sur-Mer, France.
