Investigators are searching for the cause of a fire in Northeast Roanoke
this morning.

The house in the 800 block of Palmer Road was fully engulfed with flames
shooting out the windows when firefighters arrived on the scene shortly after
three a-m.
The Booth family made it out of the house safely.
They called the fire department from a relative's house across the street.
The house was destroyed in the overnight blaze.

After looking at the wreckage from Tuesday's fatal plane crash in
Montgomery County investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board
have more insight into the crash.
But it could take months before the cause is found.

number of cars and trucks that go by.

But these volunteers believe it's increasing.
They're hoping that high volumes of traffic will force V-DOT to add extra
lanes... or at the very least, widen the road.

General.
In January, News- 7 was first to show you home video of Gil Davis
drinking... and talking to a female client about the possibility of her
disrobing and posing for Playboy.
By that time, Davis was already on the campaign trail--hoping to win the
Republican nod for state Attorney General.
