One of the prosecutors today told jurors-- McVeigh's no patriot, he's a
traitor who deserves to die.
Similarities in two murder cases in Spotsylvania County, may increase the
possibility the victims were killed by the same person.
An autopsy shows 16-year old Sofia Silva had been shaved in the genital area
when her body was found last October.
A Washington television staion quotes sources that 15-year old Kristen Lisk
was also shaved.
Her body was found with her 12-year old sister Katie last month.
More evidence that may link the killings: all three girls disappeared from
their homes after school, all had dark hair and the bodies were all found in
Planned Parenthood is attempting to block Virginia's new Parental
Notification law from going into effect July First.
Today the organization filed a lawsuit in federal court attempting to
prevent the law that will soon require minors to notify a parent before getting

Planned Parenthood says 60-percent of minors seeking abortions already
involve their parents in the decision--
And nine percent of all abortions are to minors.
The organization says that one girl each week, is from out of state--
trying to avoid her home state's abortion laws.
The case is scheduled to be heard in Lynchburg Federal Court June 24th.
It was slow going along Interstate 81 in Montgomery County earlier this
State Police say a tractor trailer overturned after a car apparently ran it
off the road.
The accident happened in the Northbound lanes of I-81 at about 6:30 near the

Traffic was backed up for several miles.
The driver of the truck only suffered minor injuries.

In Roanoke, an eight- year- old boy is in critical condition at Carilion
Roanoke Memorial Hospital after being run over by a city utility vehicle.
Police say around one- o- clock Markese (mar-Keese) Terry was riding his
bike through the intersection of Orange Avenue and 12th Street and did not see
the stop sign.
Traffic Bureau investigators also determined the bike didn't have any

require rent-to-own business to tell customers up front the interst rate they'd

Roanoke City is in the process of buying up Garden City.

The city is using a combination of federal, state and local funds to
purchase the properties.
39 homes qualify for the program.

The Salem Avalanche was hoping a seance would turn around its losing season
