Bedford County school superintendent John Kent can breath a sigh of relief
this morning.
After meeting in executive session for more than two and a half hours, the
county school board last night took "no" action against him.

be suspended with pay while his job performance is investigated.
Some had blamed him for the school system's financial problems over last few

notice a stop sign as he rode his bike through the intersection of Orange
Avenue and 12th Street yesterday afternoon.
Traffic Bureau investigators say the bike did NOT have brakes.
Terry is in critical condition at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

three girls in Spotsylvania County girls.

Two of the bodies reportedly were found with their pubic areas shaved.
An autopsy shows 16-year old Sofia Silva had been shaved when her body was
found last October.
And WUSA-TV in Washington quotes sources as saying 15 year old Kristin Lisk
had also been shaved.

The cases have other similarities. Sofia and the Lisk sisters
