A Lexington Couple survived a small plane crash yesterday Rockingham County.
Pilot Leon Johenning said he was making a landing approach at a grass strip airfield when the accident occurred.
The two-seater struck a power pole, slammed to the ground and overturned.
The crash knocked out power briefly to two dozen customers of Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative.

Governor Allen is making his way through Europe this month and along the way he stopped to see some hometown soliders.
On Saturday, the Governor's trade trip included a visit to Bosnia to see Virginia National Guard troops.
Allen brought some personal letters to soldiers in Doboj (Du-Boy), about 60 miles north of Sarajevo.
He also told the troops that the thoughts and prayers of all Virginians are with them.
Allen is on a 15-day trip to drum up business for the state.
He will make stops in Great Britain, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
