The driver of a tow truck that pulled into the path of a truck on Interstate
81 will be charged with reckless driving.

stop.
State police say the driver of the tow truck, Joe Charles Brown of Salem,
was attempting to turn into a median, from the right shoulder, but failed to
see an approaching truck in the other lane.
Brown wasn't injured but the driver of the truck, 26-year old Kris Palmer
Smith of Wytheville, was taken to a local hospital.
State police say Smith's injuries were not life-threatening.

stealing a 290-dollar swimming pool.
State police say Deputy Terry M. Smith is expected to be charged with grand
larceny.

K-Mart, last week.
Smith was off duty when the alleged incident occurred.
Sheriff Ralph Dobbins says Smith has been suspended pending the outcome of a
