The driver of a tow truck that pulled into the path of a truck on Interstate 81 will be charged with reckless driving.

The crash happened around two in the southbound lane, near the Ironto rest stop.
State police say the driver of the tow truck, Joe Charles Brown of Salem, was attempting to turn into a median, from the right shoulder, but failed to see an approaching truck in the other lane.
Brown wasn't injured but the driver of the truck, 26-year old Kris Palmer Smith of Wytheville, was taken to a local hospital.
State police say Smith's injuries were not life-threatening.

They're asking a federal judge to dismiss the defamation suit that Michael Knowles filed.

Charges are pending against a Pulaski County Sheriff's Deputy accused of stealing a 290-dollar swimming pool.
State police say Deputy Terry M. Smith is expected to be charged with grand larceny.
Smith is accused of stealing an "above ground" pool from the Fairlawn K-Mart, last week.
Smith was off duty when the alleged incident occurred.
Sheriff Ralph Dobbins says Smith has been suspended pending the outcome of a state police investigation.

The Redskins plan to resign him, so he can officially retire as a member of the Redskins.

He finishes his career with 940 catches and 66 touchdowns.
