Last week, authorities learned the lab made a mistake analyzing the fibers.
The move re-opens the possibility that Silva's murder is linked to the
killings of Kristin and Kati Lisk.
Autopsy reports show similarities in the crimes.

A legislative subcommittee also got an update on enforcement of youth

Some say the state's new Standards of learning are moving too quickly.
Not so, according to Virginia's education secretary.
Beverly Sgro was in Lynchburg yesterday- speaking to the annual Boys State

rig has reportedly left one person dead and at least four missing.
Officials say flames are shooting 200 feet into the air.

A botched robbery at a McDonald's
restaurant in California has left a child AND the would-be-robber dead.
Authorities in the small town of Barstow say a gunman opened fire

The gunman was eventually fatally shot by an off-duty police officer.

On Capitol Hill a Massachusetts Congressman wants to take the crime out of
sex between consenting adults in the military.
Barney Frank has introduced legislation to end criminal prosecution of
troops who engage in adultery or other consensual sex.
Frank says that does NOT mean it's morally approvable behavior, just that's

Police say a homeowner surprised two would-be burglars in his home.

A finance company reposessed a sizeable chunk of the merchandise from
Crenshaw Electronics and Appliances Roanoke store yesterday.
Moving crews began hauling away refrigerators and other merchandise.
The finance company claims it is entitled to more than 100- thousand- dollars
