A grand jury in Roanoke indicted Andrew Yeannakis yesterday, on one count of wire fraud and three counts of mail fraud.
The indictment says Yeannakis set himself up as a mortgage broker, took money from investors and promised returns of 30 to 55 percent.
But federal authorities say he never delivered, and just used the money for living expenses.
