Montgomery County authorities are asking the public for help in identifying the man who robbed a Blacksburg bank last week.
They are releasing a photograph taken from a security camera in hopes someone will recognize the culprit.

The National Bank of Blacksburg on Route 4-60 was robbed at gunpoint by a white male who entered the bank last Tuesday.
The man apparently arrived at the bank in a taxi and then stole the car from the driver.
The taxi was discovered a short time later outside Montgomery Regional hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department.

He is charged with fraud and money laundering.

An 18 year old Staunton River High School has died following a Tuesday night car accident.
Police say Jesse Clayton Cheatwood was a passenger in a pick-up, when it ran off route 24 in Bedford County and hit a tree.
Police say Cheatwood was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the truck.
The driver of the truck Lawrence Morgan Gibson remains hospitalized in critical condition.
