destroyed an Amherst County home last night.

It was engulfed in flames when the first crews arrived.
Firefighters spent more than an hour trying to bring the blaze under
control.

Investigators believe the blaze started near an electrical outlet in the

Three members of the University of Virginia's football team now face charges
in connection with two separate events that happened over the weekend.
Defensive back Marcus Bullett and defensive end William Jackson were
arrested Sunday and charged with stealing chairs from one of the university's
dining halls.
Also, police say linebacker Andre McNeal verbally threatened an off-duty
officer after he was told that he would have to pay a fee so his car wouldn't
be towed.
Police say McNeal also resisted being handcuffed.
