The board voted last month to allow only the current students to finish out their second year in the program.
But last night, board member Shirley McCabe asked the board to reinstate the FULL two- year program, and ask new nursing students to pay tuition.
That still leaves the program 16- thousand dollars short.. the school board will ask the board of supervisors for the extra money.
If they're turned down, the money will be taken out of the fund for new textbooks.
During an executive session, the board also discussed superintendent John Kent's job performance evaluations.
