Investigators say 25- year- old Christopher Todd DeWeese ran off the road and crashed into a tree AFTER a police officer recognized him at Mill Mountain Park.
DeWeese was thrown from the truck, which burst into flames.
Two passengers were trapped in the truck, their bodies burned beyond recognition.
They have not been identified, yet.
DeWeese was hospitalized, but police say his injuries are not life threatening.
At the time of the accident he was wanted for a probation violation, and for failing to appear in court.
Investigators haven't decided what charges to file against DeWeese.

He survived the accident but faces charges in connection with the wreck.
