If you're looking for excitement, this is the best place to start, from this NASA page, you can chose the web server closest to you for the fastest connection... if it doesn't work, try one of the other sites listed here.
The Pathfinder home page is well worth the effort. Here you'll find the latest pictures from the probe, as well as the Rover Status, the results of science experiments, and martian weather conditions.
The site also has a picture archive, you can browse back and see what Pathfinder has been up to during the mission.
You can also get information about the mission from the CBS News Up To The Minute Space.
No pictures here, but regular updates about Pathfinder's progress, and it will be easier to access if the NASA sites are congested.
Finally, a word of caution... especially for people browsing with their children. If you visit the NASA main page, make sure you type in www-dot-nasa-dot-GOV, thats G-O-V. If you type in nasa-dot COM, you'll end up looking at an ad for a pornographic web site, and a picture of Mike Tyson.
