to life in prison.

A speeding car crashed in a northwest Roanoke neighborhood this morning,
killing the driver.

residential street.
But witnesses say it was closer to 100.
The car sideswiped a utility pole, spun out of control and hit a second pole
with such force it pulled it out of the ground.
The driver, 29-year old Ronald William Smith died at the scene. Police say
he was driving on a suspended license.

beating Mississippi 59-36.
The Stars are 3 and OH in the national tournament in Kingsport, Tennessee.
The team advances to the winners bracket tomorrow. The Stars are one of 44
