Police say suspected serial killer Andrew Cunanan is the only suspect in
today's shooting death.

permit it gave G-I-S to locate here.
Other legislators pledge to revise the Right to Farm Act which allows such
industries without a public hearing.

against the hog farm.
However this resolution might not be strong enough to keep G-I-S at bay.
F-A Keatts voted against the resolution, saying it lacked legal force.
Board Chairman Bobby Scearce says he needs more information from the state
before he can vote either way.

Neighborhood residents say their input is being listened to, but then it's

Before the project can begin, City council has to approve two separate

((It's a murder that's shocked the fashion industry.
Now the execution-style killing of designer Gianni Versace has taken a bizarre
The prime suspect in the murder is a suspected serial killer.
RICHARD BARRETO, MIAMI BEACH POLICE CHIEF: OUR SUSPECT IS ANDREW CUNANAN.
Cunanan is on the FBI's ten most wanted list. The 27-year-old is also
suspected of killing his former gay lover and three other men in three states.
Police found this red pickup truck and a pile of blood stained clothes near
the murder scene.
It's the same truck Cunanan was believed to have stolen after his last known
slaying in New Jersey.

Gianni Versace spent his life surrounded by beautiful women and beautiful
But it was a quick and ugly death for the Italian born designer outside his
Miami Beach mansion- gunned down at point blank range.
At age 50, Versace had reached the top of the fashion world.
Designing dresses for Princess Diana, Lisa Marie Presley and for Model
At his stores worldwide, fans and colleagues reacted with sadness to news of
Lynchburg police are investigating the city's first murder of 1997.
31-year old Steven Waddell Withers was shot to death near the intersection
of 15th and Monroe Streets around 1:45 this morning.
Witnesses had reported hearing two bursts of gunfire in the area.
The regional homicide squad is investigating.
Tonight police found the 1997 black Toyota Corolla the victim was driving at
the time of the murder.
Four young people are heading back to Georgia after being arrested on murder
and robbery charges in Henry County.
Police say the group stole an 18-year old man's car and then drowned him in
a Georgia lake last Friday night.
The four went to see the father of one of the suspects in Henry County.
Buddy Ratcliff spent 14 years in prison.
He says he's turning his life around.
But his house served as a hideout for four young murder suspects fleeing
police last weekend.
One was his 19-year old son, Wayne Curtis Shaw.

21-year old Michael Stokes was arrested last week for allegedly breaking
into a house and shooting at the homeowner.

focused on pilot error.
But in ruling on a probable cause, the National Transportation Safety
Board also raised questions about the Airborne Express training program... and
a flight simulator that failed to duplicate the plane's behavior in a stall.

The Airborne Express DC-8 crashed into a mountainside near Narrows on
December 22nd, killing the six crew members aboard.
The pilot was conducting a stall maneuver when the plane went down.
NTSB investigators found that his actions were inappropriate... and that
Airborne Express failed to establish an evaluation flight program that
"included adequate program guidelines, requirements, and pilot training.

Next month the community of Warm Springs in Bath county is expected to fill

A three judge federal appeals panel will hear cases in the Bath County

Today the County Board of Supervisors denied a request to change the design
of the Timberbrook shopping center in Daleville.

Residents opposing the new phases say they want the original plan.
The mall would include a Food Lion grocery store when it's done.
The location is adjacent to the south bound lane of U-S 220.
