A Blacksburg police officer is named in a federal lawsuit alleging excessive force.
Horace L. Falls, Junior says officer C- D Cummings threw him into a wall and then handcuffed him in a rough manner outside a restaurant two years ago.
Falls says his wife told the officer he suffered from seizures but claims Cummings refused to loosen the handcuffs.
Falls says he suffered a seizure later at the police department but says the officers did NOT care for him.
The town of Blacksburg and a security guard at Montgomery Regional Hospital are also named in the suit.

The Salem Avalanche has been out of town while the Salem Fair held court outside Memorial Stadium the past week.

The Roanoke Stars 15 year old all-star team won its second straight game during its European tour today. The Stars defeated Sweden 5-to-1 in the Gothia Cup tournament.
