A Blacksburg police officer is named in a federal lawsuit alleging excessive
force.
Horace L. Falls, Junior says officer C- D Cummings threw him into a wall and
then handcuffed him in a rough manner outside a restaurant two years ago.
Falls says his wife told the officer he suffered from seizures but claims
Cummings refused to loosen the handcuffs.
Falls says he suffered a seizure later at the police department but says the
officers did NOT care for him.
The town of Blacksburg and a security guard at Montgomery Regional Hospital
are also named in the suit.

the way for the government to regulate tobacco as a drug.

Blue Hills member Janet Cochran shot a 77 today to grab third place.
And Valeeta Pittman is right in the hunt as well, after carding a 79 today.
Tomorrow the event shifts to Blue Hills before finishing up at Hunting Hills
on Thursday.
