Convicted murderer Michael Knowles makes another attempt at hurting himself.

Knowles was taken for stitches after stabbing himself in the neck area Monday.
Montgomery County sheriffs officials say Knowles apparently used part of the wrist band on his watch to stab himself.
He was in his jail cell at the time. This is his third attempt to hurt himself in the past two months.
At his jury trial he tried to cut his neck with part of a disposable razor and just last week he tried to stab himself with a pencil at his sentencing for killing his wife.
Knowles has been transferred to a state mental hospital.

Halifax and North Carolina officials stopped Richmond on the road last night, after getting a tip that he was carrying cocaine.
Investigators seized Richmond's truck, money, and several grams of cocaine.
After searching his mobile home they found more cash and cocaine and arrested Richmond's girlfriend on drug charges.

The study looked at 75-thousand Chinese workers and found that those exposed to benzene had double the risk of developing leukemia compared to workers who were not exposed.

They suffer a disease called Xeroderma Pigmentosum, or X-P, a genetic defect that renders its sufferers helpless to fight damage from ultra-violet rays.
That means most any form of light, from the sun to a common lightbulb, can cause severe pain and burning and cancer.
So they go through much of their lives in darkness.
But this summer provides a chance to be like regular kids-- going to camp.
They're sleeping by day-- and playing by night.
