Jurors spent over 12 hours today hearing the case against Mary Katherine Dalton.

Defense Attorney Bryan Haskins says Mary Dalton would have no reason to want Adkins dead.

Doctors won't speculate on whether the drugs played any role in the woman's death, but an autopsy is planned.

It staffs an average of about 25 people in each store.
In other retail news, it looks like Lowe's may add another superstore in the Roanoke Valley.
Roanoke County says it has had discussions with the hardware giant about the construction of another location along route 220 near Walmart.
A developer has been getting options on a number of homes where the Lowe's store would sit.

Bus drivers with Valley Metro want a new contract.

One bus driver who spoke to News 7 said the company is reluctant to pay drivers more money.
He believes the company is just trying to cut costs at the drivers expense.
About one million dollars of Valley Metro's budget comes from federal subsidies.
It's suspected that the company may not receive that money next year.
In that case, company officials plan to raise revenue by increasing fares or cutting back on service.

Tiger Woods' arrival created quite a stir in Troon Scotland; but the men to watch in the first round were Jim Furyk and Darren Clarke.
Furyk is tied for the lead with Clarke. Both fired 4 under 67's. Here on 14; a par 3. Furyk finds the green on the nice tee shot.
He was at 4 under going in to the hole and his long putt finds the cup for the birdie and he was at 5 under.
Clarke; a pro out of Ireland; played a magnificent first round. Here on 11; with a putter from off the green; he nails it and Clarke was at 4 under through 11.
Tiger Woods fired a one over 72 and triple bogeyed 11.

((Bolling could see the championship at the end of the tunnel but winning here third city county title was no ride through the park.
Marilyn Bussey, Janet Cochrane and Valeta Pitman kept the pressure on Bolling throughout the final round.
Bolling rolled in a birdie putt at the 8-th hole that gave her a little cushion. But the group finished the front in 40.
Bussey got to within two strokes on the back nine but she three putted the green at the par three 15-th hole to open the door.))
