Neighbors say they heard two shots and saw a man run form the house, a well dressed man fitting the general description of Andrew Cunanan, the alleged serial killer wanted in connection with Versace's murder. DET. NELDA FONTICIELLA\METRO-DADE POLICE: NEIGHBORS SAW GUY RUNNING AWAY, WELL DRESSED, ETC.
FBI agents and police swarmed the neighborhood around the home, confiscating a pager and looking for shell casings. Authorities are working on evidence that suggests that the same handgun may have been used in some of the five previous murders linked to Cunanan, including the murder of Gianni Versace who was shot twice in the back of the head. In other retail news, it looks like the Roanoke Valley could get another Lowe's superstore.
The hardware giant has discussed with Roanoke County the possibility of locating a second "big box" location across from the Walmart on route 220 just past Tanglewood Mall.
Lowe's already has a store at the Crossroads Mall in Roanoke.
