of convicted killer Joseph O'Dell tonight.
He was executed at the Greensville Correctional Center, for the 1985 rape
and murder of a Virginia Beach woman.

Court refused to hear his last appeal.
In his final statement, O'Dell said his marriage at the prison today to
legal advisor Lori Urs made this the happiest day of his life.

message for the governor.

Dawkins in 1993.

The mayor of Miami Beach says a body found on a houseboat earlier tonight
has been tentatively identified as that

However, at a press conference being held as we speak, F-B-I officials
refused to say if the body was that of the suspected serial killer.
They do say the body does fit Andrew Cunanan's description.

together by signing head coach Phil Jackson.

A Bulls spokesman confirmed the agreement but would not release the
financial terms.

Former Roanoke College basketball player Jon Maher of Blacksburg was named
the recipient of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Basketball Officials
sixth annual Post Graduate scholarship.
Maher is the first to win the award under its new name, The Daniel
Wooldridge Scholarship, Honoring retiring ODAC Commissioner Dan Wooldridge.
Maher, a 1997 graduate of Roanoke, was second team all ODAC last season
averaging 10 points and 9 rebounds a game.
