((Another warm, sunny day in Miami Beach brought dark questions about the young man who ended his own life after an alleged 4 state murder spree. The FBI today crossed Andrew Cunanan off its 10 most-wanted list.
The nationwide search for the suspected killer of 5 people ended last night in this Miami Beach house boat. CHIEF RICHARD BARRETO/MIAMI BEACH POLICE: BODY LOCATED ON 2ND FLOOR, GUNSHOT WOUND TO THE HEAD, 40-CALIBER SEMIAUTOMATIC WEAPON FOUND. Police found no suicide note, nothing that would give some insight into what was going through Cunanan's mind when he chose to take his own life. Indeed, if he was the serial killer the FBI believed him to be, his motive for murder may never be known.
Authorities continue to investigate what relationship, if any, Cunanan had with the owner of the houseboat, a man named Torsten Reineck. PAUL PHILIP/FBI MIAMI: Reineck is wanted in Germany for fraud, owns a gay health club in Las Vegas, but hadn't been at the houseboat in months according to one friend. And, a man who describes himself as Reineck's former business partner doubts a Cunanan connection. RON BOURNE/FORMER BUSINESS PARTNER: QUESTION: was there any reason for your former business partner to know cunanan? ANSWER: NO, NOT AT ALL. I BELIEVE IT WAS PURELY COINCIDENTAL.))

About 16-hundred cases of food poisoning from cyclospora have been reported this year-- that's more than in all of 1996.
(----------------)

The Food and Drug Administration held a summit meeting in Washington-- on what to do about it.
Cyclospora is a water-borne parasite that causes severe diarrhea, fatigue, and loss of appetite.
Last year only raspberries from Guatamala were implicated in cyclospora outbreaks.
This year, raspberries made people sick in 12 states.
But in Florida it was mescaline lettuce.
And in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia, pesto sauce made with contaminated basil.

A report in the New England Journal of Medicine journal once again links endometriosis to infertility.
(----------------)

It's been known for years that moderate to severe cases of the disorder can cause infertility.
Now, Canadian scientists say even mild cases may be a problem.
Endometriosis causes the uterine lining to grow outside the uterus-- and in the fallopian tubes, ovaries and abdominal cavity.
But laparascopic surgery to find and remove the abnormal tissue is very beneficial-- the approach nearly doubles a woman's chances of getting pregnant.
So the message-- if your doctor is going to look for it, treat it at the same time.
