A Roanoke County man has renewed his complaint against a local priest- -the former pastor at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church.
(----------------)
VO-NAT
SUPER=03-Roanoke Co./January 1994;

Father Kenneth Stofft left the church more than a year ago, tearfully admitting to the congregation that he had an alcohol problem.
Last month a parishioner filed a civil suit arising from an incident at the church two years ago.
Robert A. Stone, the Third says he went to Our Lady of Nazareth for counseling, but that Father Stofft was drunk, continued drinking and that he propositioned Stone during the counseling session.

County police brought charges against the priest, but a judge dismissed the CRIMINAL case in 1995.
Father Rolo Castillo at Our Lady of Nazareth says- -as far as he knows- -the civil suit has not been served on the church or the Catholic Diocese in Richmond.
Stone is asking for more than a million dollars.
His Richmond lawyer says he's meeting with church officials to try to work out a settlement.
