Victims and musical instruments were strewn across the highway.

But the Philadelphia ``Daily News'' quoted some who were on the bus as saying
the driver appeared to fall asleep.

Today, they made their ten-minute swim to the shores of Chincoteague--
As an audience of about 30-thousand tourists cheered on.
With some human prompting, about 125 ponies crossed a narrow channel.
The young foals will be auctioned off tomorrow at the carnival grounds, to
raise money for the Chincoteague Fire Department, which owns the wild herd.
The adult horses return to the island.
The auction keeps the number of ponies on Assateague Island down to 150--
all the National Wildlife Refuge there can support.
Legend has it that the ponies are descended from animals that survived a
16-th century shipwreck.

kids camp to talk with the young people.
On draft day the Milwaukee Bucks traded Newman to Denver. He's familiar

Motor Company will use a Taurus as it's new model next season.

Take a look at the new Winston Cup Ford Taurus! The Taurus replaces the
Thunderbird, which has carried Ford drivers to 176 victories over the last 20
years.
Ideas for the new Taurus came from several Ford racing teams and Penske
Racing South.
Official track testing in the new Ford will begin in the next few weeks. Ford
expects 19 Winston Cup teams to use the Taurus in the 1998 Daytona 500.
