The Virginia Court of Appeals has overturned a ruling that Sharon Bottoms' girlfriend should be barred from visiting her son.

Yesterday, the court ruled that a Henrico County judge erred when he cut off contact between Bottoms' son, Tyler, and April Wade solely based on the fact that Wade is a lesbian.
Bottoms' mother-- Kay, won custody of the child, and asked the court not to allow Wade any visitation.
The appeals court said NOT just sexual orientation -- should be considered when deciding what's best for the child.
The case will return to Henrico County for more hearings.

Harrison Ford plays the president of his dreams in his latest, "Air Force One." Compassionate, dedicated, and tough.
His defiant stand against terrorism-no tolerance-is tested when a radical Russian faction led by a convincing Gary Oldman, hijack Air Force One with the president, his family and staff aboard.
The movie is gripping in its build up of suspense.
With the family in jeopardy, will the president give in to terrorism?
On the ground, the vice president, played by Glenn Close and Secretary of Defense Dean Stockwell argue over who is in charge in the situation.
Ford makes the unlikely scenario of the president going hand to hand with vicious killers believable.
And the special effects are lent believability as well through cooperation from the American military.
This latest blockbuster has a lot to recommend it.
It gets a B+ for going a bit too long. cutopen
