Whatever went wrong it ended with a Federal Express plane burning upside
down on a New Jersey runway.

The jet was coming into Newark International Airport for a nighttime
when it flipped on its back and burst into flames.
Amazingly the five people on board managed to scramble out through a cockpit
window and walk away.

Though the cause of the crash isn't known, one witness on the ground says
the jet was on fire before it hit the runway.
