The two men suspected of robbing a Lynchburg convenience store last night did not manage to get very far with the stolen loot.

Around 7:15, the clerk at the Big Horn Market on Leesville Road called 9-1-1 to report she'd been assaulted, then robbed of an undisclosed amount of money.
The clerk was able to give police a description of the suspects' car and a partial license number.
Investigator Danny Viar happened to be in the area when he heard the call, and spotted the car leaving the scene.
Police later stopped it on Kenyon Street and took two of the occupants into custody.
26- year- old Bobby Lee Brown and 21- year- old Larry Russell Ware have both been charged with robbery.
Police say they recovered some of the money taken in the robbery.

Walter Thomas Beckner and his neighbor Garnett Christopher Meyers were riding the dirtbikes.
The men were rounding the house from opposite sides and collided head on.
Beckner is now at Roanoke Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
Meyers was not hurt.

Police issued a warrant for his arrest-- and the search ended Saturday when Gray contacted the U.S. Marshall's office.
