The 11 and 7 year olds were apparently left in a car.
Reports now say up to 35 people may have survived the crash of a Korean Air
Jet in Guam.
The jumbo jet was carrying 254 people when it crashed during a storm.

New reports tonight that at least 35 people have survived the crash of a
Korean Air Jumbo Jet.
The 747 went down in Guam with 254 people abaord- bursting into a ball of
flames and smoke.
As Liz Mullen reports the search is on to find more possible survivors.

A Boy Scout at the Jamboree in Northern Virginia has died after he was
crushed to death by a Humvee.
State police say 16-year old Robert Combes of Finleyville, Pennsylvania was
driving on a gravel road when he lost control of the military vehicle.
A Boy Scouts spokesperson says Combes only had a learners permit and was too
young to drive the Humvee.

Scout drivers are supposed to be 18 years old and are required to complete a
training course before driving the transport.
Two other teens were injured in the accident.

They're looking for more answers in the murder, decapitation, and burning of
a black man there.
They say they are pleased the County Sheriff's Department asked the FBI to
determine if it was a hate crime.
State chapter president Paul Gillis says he will look into re-organizing a
disbanded N-double-ACP chapter in Grayson County.
Investigators found the burned and decapitated body of 40-year old Garnett
"G.P." Johnson 12 days ago.
Two white acquaintances have been charged with his murder.

the postal service and Federal Express, and so far, it's working.

Things could get tougher if the strike continues into the holiday shipping
season which is less than two months away.
More than 100 people will be out of work when a local shoe factory shuts
down next month.
Craddock Terry Shoe Corporation opened its doors in 1946.
Most of its employees earn minimum wage, but factory workers in China can
make shoes for much less.
That's forced this plant out of business.

City leaders say they'll meet with Greenfield management later this month to

Mayor Rudolph Giulani presented the singer with a Tiffany apple to
commemorate the singer's Central Park concert this Thursday.
Six hundred thousand people are expected to attend the free event.
Even though the Big Apple is far from his native Oklahoma, Brooks says New
Yorkers can still identify with his music.
