The mother who allegedly left her daughter and the girl's seven- year- old cousin in the car with the motor running is facing charges.
After being left alone for over an hour in the car, eleven- year- old Latisha Wright drove the family station wagon from Roanoke County all the way to Lynchburg.
A search for the two girls ensued, with the belief they may have been abducted.

Fearing the girls might have been abducted, she went to police.
Apparently her five-foot-two, 120 pound daughter had grown tired of waiting and simply drove off... headed for a relative's home in Lynchburg.
At home yesterday, the 33- year- old employee of Hanover Direct would not come to the door- -sending someone else to shoo us away.
