Crossroads Mall in Roanoke is set to reopen this morning after closing early
yesterday when 17 people were sent to the hospital.

The mother who allegedly left her daughter and the girl's seven- year- old
cousin in the car with the motor running is facing charges.
After being left alone for over an hour in the car, eleven- year- old
Latisha Wright drove the family station wagon from Roanoke County all the way
to Lynchburg.
A search for the two girls ensued, with the belief they may have been
abducted.

When Patricia Wright came out of Cory Everson's Aerobic and Fitness Center
on Route 4-19, the car was gone.
Fearing the girls might have been abducted, she went to police.
Apparently her five-foot-two, 120 pound daughter had grown tired of waiting
and simply drove off... headed for a relative's home in Lynchburg.
At home yesterday, the 33- year- old employee of Hanover Direct would not
come to the door- -sending someone else to shoo us away.

over at least eight secret documents.
At least one document from 19-64 recommended the industry downplay any link
between smoking and health problems.
The documents will now become part of Florida's lawsuit against the tobacco
