Imagine going to the salon- and coming out with scalp burns, pain, hair
damage and hair loss?
That's apparently what happened to a woman in Stamford Connecticut- when a
hair relaxer was left on too long.
Today a jury ordered JC penny to pay her one and three quarter million
dollars.
Marian Miller claims she was so depressed she needed counseling, quit her
job and left the state to make a fresh start.
Her attorney says she still must wear a wig.
J-C Penney plans to appeal. The company no longer has a
salon in Stamford.
